Samahan is the Filipino Students Association at the University of
Chicago. "Samahan" means "unity" in the Philippine language of
Tagalog. We hope to promote better awareness of Filipino and
Filipino-American culture and identity at the University of Chicago.
Our events are designed to provide of medium for students of all
backgrounds to explore Filipino culture.
This year, Samahan present its
12th Annual Cultural Show - Barrio Fiesta 2007:
Trading Places
Tickets on sale in Reynold's Club 11am-2pm, April 23-27 and April
30-May 4. $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
Dinner 5-7pm in Hutch Commons, Show 8pm in Mandel Hall.

Free Parking on all nearby streets, OR at the parking garage on 55th Street and Ellis Avenue.
Directions to parking garage:
- From 57th Street and University Ave.: On 57th Street, head west to Ellis Ave (1 block).
Make a right on Ellis Ave.
- On Ellis, drive straight toward 55th St. (About 2 blocks).
- You are going to pass Max Palevsky Residential Commons and Court Theatre. Just before 55th Street, the parking garage entrance will be on your right.
